The STRR Farmers Association team recently held a productive meeting with Nitin Gadkari to raise concerns regarding the absence and delays in providing proper service roads along the Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR). During the discussion, the team strongly emphasized the difficulties faced by farmers, landowners, and local residents due to inadequate access infrastructure, which has impacted mobility, safety, and agricultural connectivity. They urged the Ministry to ensure that service roads are constructed in a timely and planned manner alongside the STRR alignment to safeguard livelihoods and guarantee fair compensation of access rights. The meeting highlighted the collective voice of the STRR stakeholders and reinforced the demand for equitable infrastructure development that balances national growth with local

STRR Team at Parliament
Members of the STRR Farmers Association represented the concerns of affected farmers at Parliament in New Delhi, highlighting issues related lack of adequate service roads along the STRR project corridor and Regarding unfair land compensation. Through meetings with elected representatives and government officials, the delegation advocated for fair compensation, improved connectivity, and the protection of farmers' rights, ensuring that the voices of local communities were heard at the national level. PROTEST
Protest against knowledge corridor and Hosur aiportÂ
The success of the STRR Farmers Association is built on a committed team of farmers, volunteers, and community leaders who stood firmly together to protect farmers’ rights and livelihoods. Through unified leadership and peaceful resistance against projects such as the Knowledge Corridor and Hosur Airport, they amplified the concerns of affected farming communities. A record participation of around 12,000 farmers marked this protest, reflecting the strength and unity of the movement. Their sustained efforts have been instrumental in safeguarding agricultural lands and ensuring justice for farmers.
